The Tony La Russa Song That Will Be Stuck In Your Head

It's been a rather sleepy day here at Outside the Boxscore, so I figure to brighten up your spirits by showing you this rather awesome, Tony La Russa parody song.

It was written by Pat Hilton, the Galactic Rocker and it's something that could be in your head for days.

So fair warning peeps, view at your own risk!

Roy Halladay Toronto Blue Jay Tribute Song, "So Sad, We'll Miss Him"

It's been about six months since the Toronto Blue Jays traded star pitcher Roy Halladay to the Philadelphia Phillies.

Halladay was supposed to make his return to Toronto in the upcoming Blue Jays/Phillies affair but the series was move to Philadelphia for the upcoming G20 summit in Toronto.

Toronto Blue Jay super-fan Kathy Anderson decided to vent her frustration and adoration in a pretty-awesome song.

Fozzie Bear Would Approve of Shakira's World Cup Song, "Waka Waka"

Previously on Outside the Boxscore, we mentioned that Shakira would be the artist enlisted with the duty to write the 2010 World Cup song for South Africa.

Well, Shakira did not dissapoint with the song entitled, "Waka Waka, This Time For Africa".

I know that some of you out there in interweb land have different opinion about Shakira but I will say that this is a pretty catchy tune.

We at least know that Fozzie Bear would approve.

Prince's Dedication Song to the Minnesota Vikings

One thing that we do know about musical legend "Prince", is that he is a huge Minnesota Vikings fan.

He has even released a song called, "Purple and Gold" dedicated to the team.

To be honest, the level of awesome that the above video is on just went past the stratosphere.

Minnesota Vikings; do not suck. Song Disproven

The Minnesota Vikings had a rather easy time defeating the Cleveland Browns by the score of 34-20 in their week one affair. At this point, we can at least concur that the Minnesota Vikings do not suck with Brett Favre at the helm.

However, one intrepid songwriter during the NFL off-season asked the question, “Will the Vikings suck this year?”

Meanwhile, I think the real question should be at this point, “How much does it suck to be Sage Rosenfels right now?”
