LSU QB Jordan Jefferson Doesn't Know Who Thomas Jefferson Is

Earlier this morning, LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson stopped by Sportscenter to do a little interview with Bram Weinstein.

Nearing the tail end of it, they decided to play a little game called, "Name That Jefferson"and hilarity ensues when Jordan mistakes Thomas for George Jefferson:

Dodgers Dad Drops Daughter For Foul Ball

In this week's questionable fathering moments, one dad who attended the Dodgers/Marlins game last night really wanted a foul ball.

He wanted it so much that he tried to use his young daughter to get it and when the ball came his way, he dropped her.

She ended up being okay but I think she has a trump card for later in life:

Chicago Cubs Fan Tries To Throw Home Run Ball Back, Woman Gets Doused With Beer

Over the weekend, the Chicago Cubs took on the Los Angeles Dodgers and one Chicago Cubs fan was trying to throw a Matt Kemp home run ball back onto the field.

Unfortunately, he didn't see the fan behind him with two full beers as he knocks one of them out and drenches a woman wearing black sunglasses:

NHL Announcer Flubs Boston/Montreal Game 5 Winner

One thing that I do know about play by play announcers is that the job requires you to make sure that you who won the game.

During the end of Boston's epic double overtime win over the Montreal Canadiens in game five of their first round playoff series, Versus Dave Strader made a little mistake in declaring who won the game:

Soccer Fans Fall From Stands After Celebrating Goal

During yesterday's Europa League match between Villareal and Napoli, Napoli's Marek Hamsik scored a goal in the 17th minute and went over to celebrate near a group of fans.

During his celebration, some of the fans tried to push past the stands barricade and ended up falling onto the field:

Soccer Goalie FAIL on Penalty Kick

One of the toughest things to do in sports is to stop a soccer penalty kick and the goalie in the below video thinks that he has stopped one.

The only problem for this goalie is a little thing called gravity:

Sideline Reporter Taken Out By Colorado Buffalo Handler

College football sideline reporter Jim Knox has been known to do a wacky stunt or two, but nothing prepared him for the below one.

Knox was at last Saturday's Colorado/Georgia tilt and he decided to race against the Buffalo.

Poor Jim, he didn't see that handler coming, did he?:

Need A Job? The New York Mets Are Hiring!

To be honest, New York Mets fans have had a pretty rough time as of late and it wouldn't surprise me that one of them would take to the YouTube to vent their frustration.

In this classic mock commercial, the Mets are looking to hire for any position:

Presbyterian Football Gets All Tricky On Us

Last night was the start of college football and to be brutally honest, it was pretty much a snooze-fest for the common fan.

However, one interesting development came from the Presbyterian/Wake Forest game, Presbyterian was down 28-0 and decided to pull out a trick play to get some points on the board.

All I have to say is watch the ball:

Wake Forest won by a margin of 40 points but Presbyterian salvaged some pride with this play.

Louis Delmas Knocks Over Two Kids During Pre-Game Intros

One thing that I do know about football players is that they get pretty hyped when getting announced to the crowd.

Lions safety Louis Delmas was doing his normal excited introduction during a home preseason game but didn't account for a two rows of kids welcoming him to the field:

After the game, Delmas apologized for not attempting to help the kids up after knocking them over.

Watch Your Back, Ricky Rubio!

Recently, most of my sports viewing time has been focused on the FIBA basketball tournament in Turkey.

The biggest upset so far in this tournament has been Lithuania's victory over heavily favored Spain; young Spanish guard Ricky Rubio was okey-doked by Lithuania's Mantas Kalnietis during the affair.

I guess that's why the Timberwolves drafted Jonny Flynn, huh?

Michael Jordan's Opinion on Miami Thrice, "I Never Would Have Called Magic or Larry"

One person that we didn't hear from regarding the Lebron James to Miami Heat saga was one, Michael Jordan.

Jordan was in Lake Tahoe for the American Century celebrity golf tournament and was asked about Lebron James and the super-duper mega team in Miami by NBC Sports, Jimmy Roberts.

So, I guess that counts as a sorta diss?

"You See This is Why Women Aren't In Charge of Sports"

It's been a couple days since Armando Galarraga's imperfect game but the below video is almost too good to pass up.

This clip comes to us from CNBC's Squawk Box as CNBC contributor Mark Haines is discussing the perfect game with CNBC hottie, Erin Burnett.

After Burnett comments that she was pleasantly surprised about how everybody acted during the affair, Haines decided to take a jab at women and professional sports.

What makes this story even more classic is the next day, Haines was talking with CNBC contributor Gordon Charlop who decided to defend Erin's honor over the comment.

Someone was trying to get brownie points at CNBC, huh?
