Karim Mayfield TKO Celebration Dance Is Awesome

During last week's Friday Night Fights, Karim Mayfield took on Steve Forbes in a ten round slugfest which ended in a Mayfield TKO.

After the victory, Mayfield did one of the strangest post-fight celebrations that I had ever seen:

Nearing the end of the telecast of game one of the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals, NBC play by play announcer Mike Emrick was doing the usual goodbyes.

However, before he signed off, he decided to give the Geico reptilian his due:

College Baseball Rain Delay Jousting....Radford vs High Point

Back on May 15th, Radford College faced off against High Point in baseball but rain delay caused a stoppage of play.

However that didn't stop Radford's Mark Peterson and High Point's Kyle Mahoney from doing a little jousting:

Great Moments In March Madness History Done With Legos

Personally, one of my favorite childhood toys were Legos and the guys over at Tauntr decided to use them to recreate some of the most memorable March Madness moments from the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament:

The Awesome Canadian Football League Kickball Ending

If your a fan of the Canadian Football League, you probably seen this rather wacky ending between the Montreal Alouettes and the Toronto Argonauts.

With the score tied at 30-30, Montreal attempted a field goal which would give them a victory. However, due to Canadian football rules, Montreal could also win the game if they kicked the ball into the endzone which scores them one point.

That little rule set off one of the wacky finishes you will ever see:

Drew Rosenhaus, Sports Agent and Destroyer of Flaming Bricks

When someone originally sent me this clip of sports agent Drew Rosenhaus, I was a little skeptical to say the least but the awesome that is this video over-ruled any doubts I had.

So here is Drew Rosenhaus breaking flaming bricks with his bare hands.

Sony Ericsson Miami Glam Slam Tennis Match Featuring Jay Sean and Mel B

Let's be honest with ourselves, this has been a terribly slow week in the world of sports.

However, I might have found something to at least tickle your funny-bone. The Sony Ericsson Tennis Open was in Miami for an event and they decided, let's play some mixed doubles with musicians.

The teams featured Ana Ivanovic/Rapper Jay Sean and former Spice Girl Mel B/Novak Djokovic.

The Awesome of Burrito the Golfing Dog

In our current society where we treat our pets as king, this clip comes to us from the Today Show which features, Burrito the Golfing Dog.

The Today Show was having a contest called, "The Top Dog of 2010" and this where Burrito's time to shine occured.

Nice Shot, Burrito! If only, Tiger Woods could have learned from him.

The Ballad of Brett Favre, Need I Say More?

Just when you thought that you could escape Brett Favre, he's back again. Only this time in song form.

The above video shows a performance by brothers Kevin Cuevas and Chris Cuevas perform their song called, "The Ballad of Brett Favre, I Will If You Let Me" which was originally written by their father, Gale Cuevas.

I'm not 100% percent sure if I should be impressed with dedication to Brett Favre or a little peeved that Dan Marino doesn't have a song.

Wait, my bad. Hootie and the Blowfish, already did it.

Runaway Lane Kiffin

It was only a matter of time until we had some "Lane Kiffin parody songs" and this might one of the best.

May I present you, "Runaway Lane Kiffin"

The Tim Tebow School of Life

I'm pretty sure some of you out there would to love to go to a school which teaches upright moral values and the ability to win the Heisman trophy.

You have a place now, "The Tim Tebow School of Life"

Reunited and it feeeels so goooooood

Well looks like Manny Ramirez is going back where he came from.
To the Dodgers, that is.

Today Manny finally, after months and months, agreed to a two year 45 million dollar deal. There's an opt out clause after year one and it also necessitates that he donate $1 million to the Dodgers Dream Foundation. Happy ending to a long drawn out story. Somewhere in America Juan Pierre is crying. Because he sucks. Manny is really good and Pierre sucks.

In more news showing that you can go home again, Kurt Warner i s again a Cardinal and Ray Lewis is again a Raven, both claiming for life. Warner's deal is 2 year $23 million, Ray's is 3 years $22 million (isn't that weird?) and both guys are probably right that they won't switch teams since they're both really really old. But good to see them returning to places they've excelled, and I'd love to see a Cardinals-Steelers Super Bowl next year (which is pretty doubtful because the Steelers/Patriots/Colts are damn good but hey, you never know).

Finally, the Denver Broncos signed Lamont Jordan and (officially) JJ Arringon today. They now have those two plus Correll Buckhalter, Selvin Young, Andre Hall, Peyton Hillis, and Ryan Torain at RB. So...what gives? At first I was a fan of McDaniels' Broncos for cutting a lot of dead weight and signing guys like Gaffney and Dawkins. But three middling RBs and a QB controversy later, I'm not so sure. Still looking like the Chargers division to win next year.
