The Duke Basketball Rap Circa 2010, Playerz!

Like I have noted previously, I'm not a huge fan of fan-made music videos supporting their favorite team or sport.

However, when someone drops a rather crazy rhyme about Duke Basketball, I'm pretty sure that it was worth a mention on this site at least:

Geez, the season hasn't even begun yet and we already have a rather annoying anthem.

Canada's Men's Hockey Team (Fake) Rap - "The Olympic Welcome Song"

This clip has been floating around the blogosphere for the past couple of days and I figured that some of you might have missed it.

This is a parody music video done from the perspective of the Canadian Men's Hockey which features a rap song hatin' on the rest of the world.

All it needed was a cameo from T-Pain, it would have been a hit.

VIDEO IS NSFW

Rappin about the Washington Capitals

On the list of teams that I would want to write a lyrical ballad about, I'm pretty sure that the Washington Capitals would not be on that list.

However, one intrepid fan/filmmaker named Andrew Bowser (He's done some work with Funny or Die.com and MTV as well) wanted to show how awesome the Washington Capitals are in this epic rap ballad.

"They are the best team to ever play the sports of hockey is the Washington Capitals".

"Guess What? Kobe Dunked it in your Face!"

Shaq is a goofy dude. In this video he disses on (then) Sacramento Kings Center Vlade Divac for thinking the Lakers couldn't win on the road in the playoffs. The diss is truly amazing though, as it's sung to the tune of the Cheers theme song which Shaq has playing on his cell phone. Enjoy.
