Christina Ricci has confessed that she used to hate her body and still doesn't like looking in mirrors.
"For years, I hated myself," she stated to Contactmusic. "I covered the mirrors in my house. I literally couldn't have a mirror in my room.
"I still can't sit in a restaurant or someplace where I can catch my reflection. I get so paranoid."
However, Ricci explained that stripping down for her role in 2007's Black Snake Moan went some way to boosting her body confidence.
"For that, I needed to lose any self-consciousness because I feel sometimes you can see that in a nude scene."
