Start-up founders from across the world can now apply for the NEXT Elevator Pitch. The community will decide who has the chance to get on stage at the NEXT Conference 2011 in Berlin ? NEXT Elevator ? The Platform for Start-ups at NEXT11
The NEXT Conference, the leading European trend conference in the digital industry will, in cooperation with startup accelerator Hanse Ventures, initiate the NEXT Elevator. A platform for start-ups allowing them to present their founding ideas to investors and opinion leaders. Interested start-ups can apply online. The NEXT Community is able to vote on each proposal and will decide who is best. Out of the 30 most voted proposals 12 will be selected by a Venture Capitalist jury and will be invited to the NEXT Conference.
Then, in two pitch sessions at NEXT11, the twelve favourites have the opportunity of presenting their founding idea in front of the jury, thus taking the first decisive step into the public eye.
The winner will be announced at the NEXT Conference on the evening of May 17.
The Jury
The NEXT Elevator jury is top class. It is staffed with Ola Ahlvarsson (Result), Marco B�rries (NumberFour AG), Alexander von Frankenberg (High-Tech Gr�nderfonds), Maks Giordano (juuman�okudo), Stefan Gl�nzer (White Bear Yard), Olaf Jacobi (Target Partners), Christoph R�thke (Founder Institute), Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten (The Next Web) and Sarik Weber (Hanse Ventures).
Eligibility
We are looking for young founders, founder teams or start-ups in early stage(not older than twelve months) with innovative ideas and sustainable business models in the internet and ecommerce industry. The idea must not be funded at the time of application. Each applicant is allowed to send in one proposal.� Applications are welcomed from any country in the world.

NEXT Start-up Expo
In addition to the main programme, there will also be an expo at NEXT11 where companies are able to present themselves and their products. As part of NEXT Elevator an offer with special terms is available for start-ups to be present as exhibitors at the NEXT Expo area.
