Fearne Cotton previously dated new US X Factor host Steve Jones
Fearne Cotton and her fianc� Jesse Jenkins have called time on their relationship.
The pair, whose on-off romance began in 2006, got engaged in September after US skateboarder Jesse asked Fearne to be his wife as she celebrated her 29th birthday.
'Sadly their relationship came to a mutual end last month,' Fearne's spokesperson confirms. 'There is no-one else involved.'�
Earlier this year Radio 1 DJ Fearne admitted that though they had a rocky relationship, she and Jesse, 24, found it hard to stay apart from each other.
'We always had this magnetic connection and this deep love, and we knew it wasn't right to be apart, but we gave it a go and it didn't work, so we tried to distance ourselves,' she told Glamour magazine.
'But we were like magnets clanging back together.
'Some people get together and it's all rosy forever, but for others you've got to learn lots of lessons before you're ready to make that commitment.'
