Today you readers get a special treat, as this is probably the worst gimmick in wrestling history. In 1990, someone at WWF thought it would be a good idea to plant a giant egg at ringside and then build up the mystery of what was inside it for Survivor Series of that year, where the truth would finally come out. Strange, but not all bad, and people seemed to get somewhat into the gimmick.
That is, until the egg actually opened. And revealed a Giant Turkey (played by Hector Guerreo).
The crowd booed like crazy. The turkey and Mean Gene took to the ring and danced (Mean Gene does some somersaults too, it's really crazy and starts around 1:55). And the Gobbledy Gooker was rarely heard from again. That is, until the Gimmick Battle Royal at Wrestlemania X-Seven, where he was the second guy eliminated (Intros here, A few intros and the fight here).
