The father of two and his 29-year-old model girlfriend, Jacqui Ainsley, are expecting their first child together, according to London's Daily Mail.
The couple, who started dating last year, have "been keen to start a family," a source said.
"We expect to hear wedding bells next year," the insider added.
The director, 42, has two sons with ex-wife Madonna. Eldest son Rocco, 10, was born in 2000, and the couple famously adopted David, 5, from Malawi in 2006.
Ritchie and Madonna divorced in 2008.
