In Today's Moment of Zen, The "New" Yankee Stadium had its debut as the Yankees faced off against the Cleveland Indians.
You would think in New York City that they could find someone to do the National Anthem with a New York flavor.
Who did the Yankees pick? No other than Burleson, Texas's own American Idol Kelly Clarkson.

Yep, that's Kelly Clarkson at a Red Sox's game and she appeared to be pretty hammered as well. Just to think, some lucky Boston fan could have scored with an American Idol.
The Yankees got drubbed 10-2 by the Indians and maybe "the Curse of Kelly Clarkson" is upon you, Yankee fans.
