Super Bowl Memories: Adam Vinateri's game-winning field goal (Super Bowl XXXVI)

Super Bowl XXXVI appeared to be, "David vs. Goliath".

The 2001 New England Patriots were on a magical run and became everyone's favorite sports team to personify America after the September 11th attacks. The St Louis Rams were heavy favorites (by 14 points) and were the looking to define themselves as repeat champions.

Rams receiver Ricky Proehl had just scored the tying touchdown for the Rams and then some dude name Tom Brady entered the field where led the Patriots on a game-winning drive.

It all culminated in an Adam Vinatieri's 48 yard game winner.
