With Super Bowl XLIV only days away, we here at OTB are going to take a look back at some of the most memorable moments in Super Bowl history.
Not necessarily in the order of importance but along the lines of Super Bowl Moments that have stood the test of time.
Super Bowl Memories: John Elway's Spin-Cycle (Super Bowl XXXII)
Super Bowl XXXII is most remembered for John Elway finally getting the Super Bowl monkey off his back with his first ever win in the big game.
The play that everyone still talks about didn't score any points however. In the third quarter, on a third down attempt at the Packers twelve yard line, The Broncos were driving to re-gain the lead and Elway scrambled for the first down, this is where his famous "helicopter" leap happened.
The drive ended in a Terrell Davis touchdown run but Elway's legacy was cemented with that one play where he gave up his body to get the first.
