With Super Bowl XLIV only days away, we here at OTB are going to take a look back at some of the most memorable moments in Super Bowl history.
Not necessarily in the order of importance but along the lines of Super Bowl Moments that have stood the test of time.
Super Bowl Memories: Joe Montana to John Taylor (Super Bowl XXIII)
The Cincinatti Bengals had appeared to be one their way for their first ever Super Bowl win leading by the score of 16-13 over the San Francisco 49ers.
However, they left 49ers quarterback Joe Montana with a total of 3:10 left on the clock and this memorable moment culminated in a Montana to John Taylor touchdown with 35 seconds left.
Postscript: Earlier on before the drive started, Montana pointed over to the opposing endzone and noticed comedian Jon Candy standing there.
He asked his teammates in the huddle, "Is that him"? The moment personified Montanta's "Joe Cool image."
