LAPD is asking for the public's help in finding Megan Lacy Wren, 25, who was last seen about 3 p.m. March 31, 2011, near Vermont Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard in the Westlake area. Wren is an actress and is known to frequent a residential complex at 1010 Wilshire Blvd., police said. She is white, 5 feet 1, and 110 pounds. Megan Lacy Wren, 25, was found by her father in the Westlake area on Friday night and was returned to Riverside County, where she is undergoing unspecified medical treatment, said Detective Carmine Sasso of the Los Angeles Police Department's Missing Persons office.
Police were notified on Saturday that Wren had been located, Sasso said.
Authorities had sought public help to find Wren, who went missing on March 31, and Sizemore had given police a "preliminary statement" regarding the woman, Sasso said.
The missing woman's father, Bill Wren, told ABC7 she lived with Sizemore and had been working as his assistant. TMZ reported that she was the actor's girlfriend, but his publicist said they were only friends and had lived in the same building.
Bill Wren told ABC7 his daughter has struggled with drug addiction and was recently hospitalized for a serious staph infection.
On Saturday, Sizemore told TMZ that he was "relieved and happy Megan is safe and sound. It is unfortunate that she did not come forward immediately as this has caused me a lot of concern. However, I am pleased no harm has come to Megan and I wish her and her family the best and I am putting this matter behind me."
