A lot of love and a little lingerie was all it took for Eva Amurri to get engaged.

Just one day after the actress -- and daughter of Oscar winner Susan Sarandon -- posed in a variety of barely there undergarments for Maxim magazine, her boyfriend Kyle Martino popped the question.

"My fianc visited the set, and we got engaged the next day. Everybody's been teasing him, 'The Maxim shoot sold you, huh?' " Amurri tells the men's mag.

The 26-year-old flaunts her killer body in the risqu pictorial, in which she imagined herself as a "sexy wife left alone, posing around the house in lingerie."

And while she shows her softer side in the magazine spread, Amurri reveals her athletic past ? a good thing since her future husband is a former MLS soccer player who is now a Fox Soccer Channel commentator.

"Yeah, I'm pretty athletic. I played growing up and have always really loved it, which is lucky because we watch a lot of soccer in our house," she says.

Although she says there is "no chance" she'll ever compete on "Dancing with the Stars," Amurri has no problem showcasing her dance moves for her role as a stripper on Showtime's "Californication."

"I've wanted to play that part my entire life," she says. "You can tell from the way girls dress on Halloween, we just want to wear cute outfits that let us show off. We're always told, 'You can't look like a slut,' so to be able to prance around like we do in our bedrooms, it was a dream come true."

Another dream come true for the Ivy league-educated starlet was being able to establish an acting career without the help of her famous mother's name.

"We don't really look alike, and I have a different last name, so in auditions a lot of people didn't know," Amurri says of Sarandon. "But people love 'got off the bus from Idaho' stories, so they're not rooting for you if you're from a family that's done it.

"They think you don't deserve it, even if you're working to fight that perception," she added. "But it's also great in some ways, so, you know, don't cry for me, Argentina."
