The "Bones" actress, 34, is expecting her first child with husband David Hornsby, her rep told People.com.
Deschanel and Hornsby, a writer-actor who play Matthew "Rickety Cricket" Mara on FX's "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," began dating in 2007 after first meeting through friends. They tied the knot in front of family and friends during an intimate ceremony in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles last September.
