LOS ANGELES - Charlie Sheen's estranged wife Brooke Mueller is just fine - not missing on a reported bender - a family source told the Daily News.

The oft-rehabbed mother to Sheen's twin sons was home with her boys Bob and Max early Friday morning under the watchful eye of her maternal aunt, the source said.

"I spoke to (the aunt). She said Brooke looks fine," the source said. "She's going through her rehab program. She's into it. The kids are being raised in a very stable household."

Rumors that Mueller, 33, had disappeared on a suspected drug binge started with a RadarOnline.com report early Thursday and got a boost when TMZ.com posted video of her trying to hock items at a seedy pawn shop some 20 miles from her Los Feliz house.

In the surveillance clip, Mueller takes something off her wrist, hands it to a staffer and fidgets while he inspects the item.

A shop employee told TMZ that Mueller was "desperately" trying to get cash for an expensive men's watch and a stereo but didn't have valid identification to make the sale.

"I just don't believe it," Mueller's stepdad Jon Fiore told the News. "We've spoken to Brooke. It's disturbing people are making things up because it affects the lives of children."

Mueller admitted in court documents that she "temporarily fell off the wagon" in February. She promised a judge she was back in rehab when she won a restraining order March 1 that temporarily stripped Sheen of access to his sons.

Sheen's soon-to-be ex wife sought the order with claims the former "Two and a Half Men" actor punched her in the arm and threatened to send her decapitated head to her mother in a box.

She let the order expire March 22 when the sparring spouses reportedly struck a new child custody agreement that requires both parents to maintain their sobriety.

A call to Mueller's family attorney was not immediately returned.
