If hockey players cried, there would have been a wailing and weeping like no one has seen in quite awhile. In a VERY rare occurrence, the Wings gave up four unanswered goals and allowed LA--the WORST team in the league--to win the game 5-3. The Wing players that were interviewed after the game had the same look of a deer caught in headlights: PURE SHOCK! The good thing about tonight's game? This just may be a wake-up call for the Wings. They now KNOW that they have to WORK to win games and not count on the flukey wins like they got in St Paul the other night. Hopefully they will put this one behind them quickly and get back into the groove before the weekend--they play Toronto on Saturday and Anaheim (in NBC's Game of the Week) on Sunday. Tough.
