The one thing that you can say about Kentucky Wildcats head coach John Calipari is that when he gets behind a cause, he gets behind a cause.
Last night, Calipari ran a "Hoops for Haiti" telethon in Kentucky where he helped raise money for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The telethon featured appearances by Calipari (who MC'd the event), members of the Kentucky Men's Basketball Team, ESPN's Dick Vitale, and other NCAA basketball coaches who included Syracuse's Jim Boeheim and Texas's Rick Barnes to name a few.
At the end of the telethon, "Hoops for Haiti" raised over one million dollars which will be donated to the American Red Cross who was associated with this event.
If that story didn't make you all warm and fuzzy inside, then this video of Kentucky players John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, and Eric Bledsoe playing with a baby probably will.
