The Canadian mom recently turned down fifty thousand dollars to appear in Playboy magazine. She turned down the topless photo shoot saying that it would go against one of her religious beliefs if she were to take part. She has now joined a very large list of very famous women who have turned down offers to appear in the mag.
Reportedly, Mel Gibson’s ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva turned down seventy five thousand dollars to pose nude for the mag and also appear on the front cover. Singer Nelly Furtado turned down half a million dollars to pose fully clothed. Lady GaGa also turned down a huge sum of cash to pose for the mag.
Mel B of Spice Girls fame says that she has turned down offers to pose multiple times. Wild child Lindsay Lohan has turned down many offers, the latest being for a ridiculous nine hundred thousand dollars. However she has said that she would pose clothed. This is certainly a good sign that some celebrities do have principles that they are willing to stick to, no matter what the price. However many famous women have posed nude for the mag and this isn’t likely to stop any time soon.
