The very private singer Prince shocked talk show host George Lopez on Thursday when he called in and offered to perform on the show.
Prince will be performing for 21 nights in Los Angeles next week and called in to George Lopez to ask if his music group, The New Power Generation, could come by the show and perform on Wednesday.
Lopez was thrilled with the idea but the singer, who referred to himself as the ?Puerto Rican brother from another mother?, had one request for the talk show host, to take it easy on decorating with the color purple.
Prince said, ?Whatever you do don?t overdue the purple. Let us bring the purple. Everybody?s always doing those purple lights and what not, you know what I mean??
