With postseason baseball just about to get started, the NFL's Diva League....I mean clan of wide receivers were making some news on Wednedsay.
A day after he decided to punch the buddy of Lebron James, (I was praying for a Lebron/Braylon Edwards beef) former Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards was traded to the New York Jets for Chansi Stuckey, some dude on special teams, and two draft picks.
Edwards was never truly appreciated in Cleveland and did have that habit of dropping balls in key situations but I rather like this deal for the Jets and the Browns. It is still unknown whether or not Edwards will be disclipined for that alleged punch of Lebron James friend.
The San Francisco 49ers have finally agreed to a contract with former Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree (who neither crab or tree) to a six year deal.
The real unsung hero for the 49ers, MC Hammer helped out at least get Michael's mind on the right track. I do pray for his safety though, for all the NFL head coaches that I would not want to start out on bad terms with is 49er head coach Mike Singletary.
I think Crabtree is probably running wind sprints as we speak.
