Mariano Rivera's "SpitBall", Sounds like a bad movie

During game three of the ALCS, Yankees closer Mariano Rivera in the 10th inning appears to spit on the baseball that he is holding. The Angels went onto win but the question that everyone started ask is, "Did Riviera spit on the baseball?"

Fox's coverage cuts away to a shot of Angels manager Mike Scioscia but it does appear that Riviera did spit on the ball. Then the blogosphere and YouTube got their hands of the video and many fans tried to proclaim that Rivera should be suspended for throwing a spit-ball.

At this point, I could care less about whether Rivera threw a spit-ball or not. Did it give him an unfair advantage? Maybe, the Angels won anyway so I figure that everything is right with the world in the sense of karma. I am just so surprised that the entire blogosphere blew up over such a minor incident.

If you ask me, why baseball fans freaked out over such a little thing? I will just tell you that baseball and it's fans have alot of other things to worry about.
