We here at Outside the Boxscore like to be interactive with our fans, so we decided to come up with our own version of “ESPN’s Streak for the Cash.” Every week, we will produce a scenario or two, dealing with sports or the blogosphere, and we will have you, the readers of this site vote in a poll, if you think the scenario will happen or not. Then much like “Streak for the Cash” you will compete against us to determine who wins, “Us at OTB” or “The World”
We will open a poll for our readers to vote on the scenario when the article is posted and when the poll closes, the option with the highest percentage will be their pick and deemed, “The World’s Pick.” We at OTB will be a separate entity and have an OTB expert make the pick for “Us” and explain the reasoning for it.
At the end of the year, whoever makes the most correct predictions in a row will be deemed the winner. It will either be “Us” or “The World.” If the World wins, we will random select someone who leaves a comment in these posts to receive some sort of prize.

“This is one is going to be an interesting one. I usually like to watch these celebrity events to see them make fools of themselves. Major League Baseball for the past couple of years has done a Celebrity Softball game with Kenny Mayne and a cast of legends and celebrities.
For this year’s edition, Jenna Fischer (AKA Pam Beesly from NBC’s The Office) was one of the individuals invited to this event and will be on a roster. The question is, “Will she get a hit?”
It’s tough to tell since Jenna might be one of those “tweener” athlete, she could possibly get a hit. She grew up near St Louis and might have home-field advantage but we also have to factor in that she had back surgery a few years ago. According to her MySpace page, she hasn’t played since grade school but has been practicing.
However, I’m going to say that she will get a hit.”
