Well, Richard Jefferson has finally gotten himself a new nickname and this is the "Runaway Groom." Jefferson was supposed to be married this weekend and decided to cancel the plans at the 11th hour.

Jefferson's decision to break off the wedding to former Nets' dancer Kesha Ni'Cole Nichols was so last-minute that some of his oblivious friends had already shown up last Saturday at the swank Mandarin Oriental in Columbus Circle for the $2 million wedding that never happened.
Jefferson dumped Nichols just before the weekend, according to sources.
The would-be bride was stunned, but "not entirely caught off-guard," by Jefferson's unsportsmanlike conduct, according to a family friend.
Good job, Richard Jefferson you dodged the big marriage bullet. The person I feel sorry for is the bride who got dumped but was not caught off-guard and the best man who was going to take it to the hole with the hottest bridesmaid.
