It has been well-documented that the NHL's San Jose Sharks have had great regular seasons only to come up short in the playoffs.
So, when they finished as the overall #1 seed and faced #8 seed Colorado Avalanche, you knew something was bound to go wrong.
With the series tied at 1-1 in game three, San Jose's Dan Boyle was clearing the puck out to his goalie, Evegeni Nabakov. Then only something that could happen to the San Jose Sharks gave Colorado the 2-1 series lead.
