37 runs were enough…

Most of you when watching a blowout in any sport usually turn the channel; however you then probably missed the Florida State Seminoles men’s baseball team score thirty-seven runs against the Ohio State Buckeyes in the NCAA Baseball Regional Playoffs. The final in the game was 37-6. (The Buckeyes missed an extra-point.)

Yep, that is correct thirty-seven runs. The Seminoles collected a total of thirty-eight hits and sixty-seven total bases. The score by the fifth inning was in favor of the Seminoles 32-0. Florida State’s Stephen Cardullo set an NCAA tournament record with seven hits and three doubles. Florida State advances to the Super Regionals with the victory.

The total run scored between both teams tied a record set by Miami, Ohio's 35-8 victory over Quinnipiac on June 4, 2005.

If you were an Ohio State pitcher, you were probably not spared any help. To be honest, I think the highlights speak for themselves.
