Usually UConn men's basketball coach Jim Calhoun is the type of coach who does not speak out against the media. However after the team's victory against the University of South Florida, he received an interesting question from a reporter from the Hartford Courant.
Ken Krayeske asked a question about Jim Calhoun's salary and Calhoun did not appreciate that question. Honestly, you could hear the groans of the media during the interview. Krayeske who is a freelance reporter decided to ask the question of the salary of Calhoun over anything relevant to the basketball team.
I figure that Krayeske just wants his ten minutes of fame and honestly may feel that people should know about Calhoun's salary. However he chose a pretty douchebaggy way to ask a question. The question should been asked personally to Calhoun rather than at a press conference.
Maybe he should listen to Calhoun and just "sit down and shut up."
