In this March Madness Memory, we flashback to the year of 1993 where the 6th ranked California Golden Bears took on the two-time defending National Champions in the 3rd ranked Duke Blue Devils in the second round.
The Blue Devils fresh off of a beating of Southern Illinois appeared to be cruising back to a third possible National Championship.
California was a relatively unknown team led by Freshman point guard Jason Kidd and barely squeaked by LSU in the first round.
The game was back and forth but eventually won by California due to a three-point play from Kidd by the score of 82-77.
