In today's March Madness Memory, we flashback to the 2006 NCAA Tournament which was filled with fantastic finishes.
One of the more memorable first round matchups was the 3rd ranked Iowa Hawkeyes taking on the 14th ranked Northwestern State Demons.
Nearing the end of the game, Iowa had a chance to ice the game by making free throws. However, the miss opened the door for Northwestern to win the game.
With Bill Raftery commenting that the Demons should go to the rim, a missed three-point appeared to doom Northwestern. However, Jermaine Wallace tracked down the loose ball and stepped back to hit a three and win the game by the score of 64-63.
Iowa had a shot to still win the game with Adam Hulska but the shot hit the front of the rim. Northwestern State advanced to the second round in one of the more memorable shots in tournament history.
