In this edition of March Madness memory, we continue our story from the 2005 NCAA Tournament where another upset occured between the 4th ranked Syracuse Orange and the 13th ranked Vermont Catamounts.
Syracuse was led by senior guard Jerry McNamara and was poised to make a solid run in the tournament.
Well, the Vermont Catamounts led by T.J. Sorrentine and Germain Mopa-Nilja sent the game into overtime. That's where the memorable moment happened when CBS announcer Gus Johnson commented on a long-distance shot from T.J. Sorrentine that "he hit one from the parking lot."
Vermont went onto win in overtime by the score of 60-57.
