In this edition of March Madness Memories, we flashback to the 1995 NCAA Tournament where the #1 ranked UCLA Bruins took on the 8th ranked Missouri Tigers in the second round.
It appeared that Missouri was going to pull of the upset by the score of 74-73 since UCLA only had 4.8 seconds left and the entire length of the court to get to the basket.
However UCLA guard Tyus Edney in one of the most memorable shots of the tournament when the distance and banked the shot in. UCLA won 75-74 and continued on to the Sweet Sixteen.
The shot saved the Bruins tournament to say the least since they won the tournament in 1995 which was the 11th in school history and the 1st since the John Wooden Era.
