When April Summers is asked to give 3 words that best describe her personality: Determined, Headstrong and Independent come to mind. She was born on March 28, which makes her an Aries. April grew up in Wasilla, Alaska which is a very small town about 45 minutes outside of Anchorage. She attended a local school for most of her elementary and high school years. Summers was involved in several sports including soccer and basketball during the school year and in the summers he rode her horse and figure skated.Her winters were spent snow boarding and snow machining! Her favorite time spent was definitely ice skating. She loved it and if she do say so herself, she was pretty good at it. In fact, she loved it so much, that her plan was to join "Disney On Ice" when she completed high school. However, that did not end up happening. When she was just 16, she moved out of her parents home. Her reason for leaving was not as alarming as you might think but for her was enough. She moved because she wanted to attend public school. She know this may sound funny, but her parents were very strict and public school was out of the question in their minds. So she moved out, got a job and went to school on her own, living life as an adult at just 16. She never realized how expensive life was; and without "Mom and Dad" paying for the essentials, let alone her skating lessons, She could not afford to spend as much time on the ice as she was used to. In school, she met a girl who worked at a club in Anchorage during the summers. She explained that there was a contest coming up, in which thy could win $500. So, one night, April went with her to check it out. They spoke to the clubs manager and he invited them to come back the next week to strut their stuff. They went back the following week and Summers stripped for the very first time. She have never been so scared in her entire life! The only thing that brought her back was the fact that she made more money in that one night than she made in 3 weeks at her regular job. So, to make a long story short, she became a full time exotic dancer and took classes at a college. How did April come to take the leap into the world of adult films? She was introduced to the adult industry while she was dancing in Las Vegas, Nevada. April was approached by a talent scout, who asked her if she would be interested in doing pictorials for men's magazines. Since her plans of becoming a professional ice skater had changed, she now wanted to "Feature Dance". For those of you who do not know, a "feature dancer" is paid to come to various strip clubs around the country and/or world and make a "celebrity appearance" to perform for short runs of time. The more exposure a dancer has in the various media, such as magazines and films, the higher fees they can charge a club per show. So, she saw this "talent scouts" offer as a perfect way to build her credits. Shortly after meeting him, she flew to Los Angeles, met a few photographers and scheduled some shoots. she continued to fly back and forth between Alaska and LA for the next year. After several weeks of thinking carefully, she decided to move to LA and do her first adult film. Since then, April have done numerous films and magazines.
