Phoenix Coyotes file for Bankruptcy

When you thought that having a professional hockey team in a warm weather city would work, then the Phoenix Coyotes go bankrupt.

The team filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Tuesday and owner Jerry Moyles was stripped of his ownership ability to run the team.

Currently, there is some talk that the co-founder of Blackberry Jim Balsillie was planning on moving the team to Ontario but the NHL has not been supportive of this new ownership idea.

Maybe, they should have solved the puzzle by not putting a NHL team in Phoenix years ago.
