Wayman Tisdale: 1964-2009

Very sad news to report as former NBA player Wayman Tisdale has passed away at the age of 44.

Tisdale played for twelve seasons in the NBA for the Kings, Suns and Pacers and mostly is remembered for his collegiate career as an Oklahoma Sooner.

Tisdale was an accomplished Jazz musician as well. He recorded eight albums and performed on worldwide tours including corborating with country music star Toby Keith on his last album, "Rebound"

Recently, Tisdale lost his right knee and foot to amputation when a trip to the emergency room in Feburary 2007 for a broken leg found that bone cancer was the cause for the break.

Tisdale passed away from cancer at the St. John's medical center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 44 years old.
