While most of you were probably watching Chuck in 3-D, Kobe Bryant was dropping a MSG record 61 points.
The record was originally held by Bernard King with 60 but Kobe decided that he needed to have another record. (The highest point total scored by an opponent was by Michael Jordan with 55.)
Kobe shot 19 of 31 for the field and he hit all 20 of his free throws that he attempted.
The Lakers won 126-117, maybe they don't need Andrew Bynum after all.
