During Sunday's game one of the Western Conference Finals between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings, Chicago right-winger Adam Burish scored a goal in the first period and the nearly got decipated in the second period.
Teammate Ben Eager got trangled up in a check attempt where his skate nearly cut Burish 's neck clear off. (Marie Antoinette would have told him he would have gotten style points for it at least.)
Thankfully, Burish only left with a minor cut. The bad news, Detroit won game one of the series by the score of 5-2.
