After his alleged two-year crime spree, the Barefoot Bandit finally had his day in court.

Colton Harris-Moore, 20, pleaded guilty to seven federal charges, includingburglarizing a bank, possessing a firearm as a fugitive, stealing an airplane and piloting an airplane without a license, in U.S. District Court on Friday.

Under the plea deal, Harris-Moore will serve up to 7 years in prison and pay more than $1.4 million in restitution to crime victims, using proceeds from a film deal in the works. Any additional earnings from books, speeches or other publicity must be paid in restitution as well. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 28.

The Washington-state native earned his nickname ? and notoriety ? for allegedly committing numerous property crimes while barefoot.

Harris-Moore's reported crime spree led to a two-year manhunt, which ended in a dramatic high-speed boat chase in the Bahamas last July.
