I would argue that car7 is the initiator and reason to disturb traffic not you even if hit from back side and cause ripple effect. I would say car7 is at major fault and you should defend your case and sue all upfront car drivers for not violating traffic rules and causing this much inconvenience.

Logiclife. I know why you are responding to these comments you all are frustrated with such comments. I know it is hard to not respond but please ignore these asinine comments. Please have some of these comments linked to the main page. But believe me "barking dogs seldom bite." Such people will ultimately sap your energy. But, just like how IV is asking people to contribute please also ask them to use their own judgment, they do this at their own risk. I have sent money using icicibank's M2I service . Usually they take 5 working days to remit the money(atleast 8 days to transfer). I made four transactions last week(mon, tue, wed, thu) and they already remitted the money using low conversion rate.
It just took less than three days to remit the money this time. Bank deliberately did this just to steal money from me. I have lost more than 35 paise per dollar and it comes close to Rs 10,000. This is ridiculous and its a big robbery.
How do i get my money back? How do i make a compliant about this bank? They have no one to assist me over the phone.
What to do now?. Rs 10,000 may look too small for us. But how can we let banks to act like a criminals.
Any help/suggestion/comment?

USA depends on H1B visa and all types of visas. Not us. We have options and we can live in home country if we do not have options here. Without these visas USA will not survive.
Just think if CHINA boycotts exports to USA what will happen here? People cannot eat GUNS and live with GUNS. Computers will not help produce Eatables. Only people can grow vegetables and produce in lands. For that Americans are not ready to go to Farm and Work. So you need Z and all types of VISAs. Of course people choose USA since DOLLAR Is more when converted to home currency. Otherwise what is the use of coming here?

Besides, in my 7-8 years living in this country, first as a student and then as H1 worker, never once have I felt being treated differently because I am a foreigner or look different.
Now compare that to living in Europe (you will be treated as dirt as soon as you enter airport), it is racist, living in past and full of bureaucracy.
As for India, mera bharat mahan, but I remember a time when I had to pay bribe on the train ticket counter to get a measly 2nd class sleeper ticket, or just to get a electric connection, would dare not get near a policeman, etc. etc.. The list is long and I suppose I everyone here knows what I am talking about.

I know how it feels when guys out there with priority date later than you get approved and you're stuck in this black hole with no clue on what the current status is.
Usually, it takes atleast 7 days for the congressman staff to get any response. It's always better to call the staff casually after couple of days to make sure they have got all the paper work you've sent and they are working on it.
I'm sure your case will be approved soon - have hope.

The donations that we make to IV will be part of the general corpus which will be used for lobbying. As one core member pointed out 99% of that fund is utilized for lobbying, I am guessing remaining 1% is spent on hosting IV website.

I just looked at my old cases(H1Bs-I-129) and i see LUDs on them too!!! This is so weird.
