West Virginia's DaSean Butler probably pictured ending his career with an NCAA Championship. However, he fell on the other side of the coin as he ended his collegiate career in the Final Four with a knee injury.
It happened in the second half vs. Duke when Butler tried to drive the rim against Duke's Brian Zoubek.
The current injury report for DaSean Butler is that he tore his ACL and sprained his MCL along with some bone bruises in his left knee.
We wish Butler a speedy recovery and good luck in the NBA.
During my time watching sports, I have seen many gruesome injuries in my time but this ranks up there as one of the worst.
Andrew Bogut of the Milwaukee Bucks went up for slam dunk in last night's game against the Phoenix Suns. He completes the dunk but lands awkwardly on his arm and starts screaming in pain.
If you watch the video closely, his arm appears to bend backwards. The below video is not for the squeamish, so if you don't want to see it, don't view it.
The current injury report for Bogut is that he will be out for the rest of the season with a broken hand, dislocated elbow, and sprained wrist.
We wish him a speedy recovery from this horrific injury.
