Previously on Outside the Boxscore, we noted USA soccer star Landon Donovan's recent publicity tour on Regis & Kelly and The Late Show with David Letterman.



He also teamed up with head coach Bob Bradley to talk with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show and there were some rather hearty guffaws to say the least.

The one thing that never ceases to be amusing is ESPN's, "This is Sportscenter" commercials and they created two commercial gems here for USA soccer stars, Landon Donovan and Jozy Altidore.

Landon Donovan Does Mexican Lottery Commercials

One thing that I did not know about American soccer star Landon Donovan is that he liked to do commercials in Mexico.

Well, he does one for the Mexican Lottery game, "Gana Gol". The commercial itself is in Spanish but essentially it's Landon Donovan trying to get into Mexico and some security guard catching him.

Hmmmm....I smell an NBC sitcom waiting to happen.
