Tied 2-2 until a weak call was made on Ericson for interference in the third period. The Penguins scored on the power play of course and then scored an open netter to end it. Final 4-2
A rematch from last years Stanley Cup Finals you knew this was going to be a great game. Detroit blew a 3 goal lead to end up losing to the Penguins in OT. Here are the highlights...
The Pittsburgh Penguins came out strong to get the first two goals of the game. One of the goals was actually shot in by Kronwall. Helm got the next goal right off of their defense men to make it 2-1 . Datsyuk comes back to hit the crossbar... it looked like everyone at Joe Lewis thought it was in, but no goal. 7 minutes into the 3rd period though he redirected in a shot to make it 2-2. Then Rafalski came up big and made it 3-2. The last minute of the 3rd period the Penguins came back to force an overtime.
In the first overtime the Red Wings carried the play but couldn't score. The refs attempted to give the Penguins a break as they gave them a very questionable call at a crucial time in the game... Very weak!
The second OT still didn't decide anything as the refs manged to call another goalie interference on the Red Wings. None the less no one scored and we headed on to the third overtime...
In a shocker the Penguins score in the 3rd overtime to keep their chances alive. We head to Pittsburgh for game 6...
Weighs 35 pounds whether it is in your hands or on the ice... Let's Go Red Wings!!!
Pavel Datsyuk somehow injures another player at the beginning of the game! The Red Wings win game four and may upset the Penguins in game 5 on home ice. Lidstrom scored the first than Jiri Hudler followed by scoring the second goal to make it official. Red Wings win it 2-1. They lead the series 3 games to 1!

This was just too funny! Watch as Fluery trips coming out on to the ice before the puck drop! First up The Benny Hill Version...
Now in regular speed...
Couldn't help but post this in super slow motion! Can't wait for game 2 on Monday in Detroit! Red Wings went on to win 4-0 as Samuelson had 2 unassisted goals... It really should have been 5 to zero, but the one ref looked like he had a favorite team going into the game : ) Zetterburg added to his totals along with Cleary without his jaw mask! Perhaps he will break out of his slump with this new found confidence...
