Paris Hilton, American Socialite and MMA Fighter, Wait What?!?
When I originally started this blog back in 2008, I thought the odds that I would reference party girl/socialite Paris Hilton were slim to none.
Well, when she is training with MMA fighter Gabe Ruediger, then she can finally make an appearance on this site.
I guess you can say that she already has a leg up on the competition, Paris is well-trained in handling objects that fight back.

Strikeforce: Nashville MMA Brawl - Get Outta There Gus!
Just when you though that Mixed Martial Arts couldn't get any more brawl-worthy, the Strikeforce event in Nashville being shown on CBS had a pretty intense brawl.
One of the premier fights of the night, Jake Shields took on Dan Henderson for the Strikeforce middleweight title. Shields eventually won the fight by unanimous decision and retained his middleweight title. CBS's Gus Johnson was doing a post-fight interview with Shields, when all of sudden, another MMA fighter Jason "Mayhem" Miller decided to interrupt the interview which sparks a brawl.
To note, Gus Johnson got that "cop-speed" as he got out of there as quickly as possible when he saw the brawl coming.
It will be interesting in the coming weeks if CBS decides to discontinue their coverage of MMA events based on this fiasco.

Jose Canseco's MMA Interview, Wants to Fight Herschel Walker
Recently on OTB, we posted a video of former Major League Baseball player Jose Canseco training for an MMA fight.
Well, the fellows over at Cage Writer got an candid interview Jose Canseco while he was at Big League Dreams Softball Complex in Las Vegas.
Canseco touches on wanting to fight Herschel Walker, the criticism of the media and blogosphere, and his popularity over most UFC fighters.

Jose Canseco's MMA Training Begins
It's been awhile since Jose Canseco has been in the news for anything other than steroids but this clip might be entertaining for some of you.
Jose Canseco's is training to become an MMA fighter and in the above video clip, here is his first day of training at Cesar Gracie's training facility in Lodi, CA.
The individual giving him the instructions is professional MMA fighter, Nick Diaz.

Power Ranger turned MMA Fighter wins first bout
I have a feeling that some of my viewers are young enough to remember "Power Rangers" which usually aired on Fox Saturday Mornings.
Well, the guy who played the "Green Ranger" on the original show, Jason David Frank, is now trying become an MMA fighter.
Recently, he won his first match against Johnathan Mack at the "Lonestar Beatdown" in Houston, Texas. There was some controversy over this victory but I really doubt that someone would throw a match to let a "Power Ranger" win, he's not Herschel Walker.
To think, he didn't call on Zordon once.
The "YES" Cartwheel from Diego Sanchez
For some reason, I cannot get into Mixed Martial Arts. However, this clip of MMA fighter Diego Sanchez doing a "YES" cartwheel was rather interesting. Diego will take on BJ Penn over the weekend at UFC 107.
Hopefully, the "YES" cartwheel will make appearance if he wins.
