Arena Football Waitress Gets JACKED UP!

As much as I claim to know about the world of sports, I completely forgot that the Arena Football League is now back in action.

Right now, the most memorable highlight so far came in this week three game between the Iowa Barnstormers and the Orlando Predators.

Barnstormer receiver Todd Blythe makes a circus catch near the sideline wall to end the first quarter of play but unfortunately one waitress had to deal with the brunt of the hit.



I think she would rather have gone fishing, huh.

Arena Football suspends season for 2009

The economy has been pretty bad recently with the recession and well it finally has hit home in the world of Arena Football.

The owners took a vote to suspend operations for the upcoming season. This means that there will be no Arena Football for this season.

The Philadelphia Soul owned by Jon Bon Jovi will not be able to defend their title this year.

It is sad to see such a fun league to watch to get eliminated due to the economic times. Oh well, there is still NFL Europe. Oh wait.....
