Daily Dip: Lisa Dergan Podsednik

Continuing the trend of world's finest sports reporters, F2DD would like to introduce Lisa Dergan Podsednik, an American model, actress, media personality and sportscaster.  Although Lisa, 39, has aged a bit since her prime where she earned Playboy Playmate in July of 1998, she still manages to bring the flames. Like they always say, smoke comes before fire, and damn this dip's got the still bringin' the fire!

I know many of you are looking at the last name, Podsednik, and asking yourself if she's married to former White Sox outfielder, Scott Podsednik.  Sadly, the answer is yes.  Shocking right?  I mean of all the dudes out there, she picks Scott fucking Podsednik.  Riddle me that.  Apparently what KG said was true...
"Anything is possibleeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!"

Jake Peavy cannot get to Chicago soon enough...

The big story of today was the Chicago White Sox possible acquistion of San Diego Padres pitcher Jake Peavy. However, the White Sox still had a game to play and well, pretty much laid an egg.

The Minnesota Twins demolished them by the score of 20-1. Yes, that is correct 20-1. Twins catcher Joe Mauer had a grand slam and drove in six runs.

The Twins scored most of their runs in the second, sixth, and seventh which they combined for 17 runs. The last time that the Chicago White Sox gave up 20 runs was actually to the Minnesota Twins back in 2007.

Serious, Jake Peavy will be there as soon as possible, hopefully.

(UPDATE: The Peavy deal is dead)

Weirdest Back to Back Homeruns Ever

Pretty weird stuff out of Detroit today, as Jermaine Dye and Paul Konkerko hit back to back homeruns in the second inning.

The weird part?

It was the 300th homerun of both players careers. According to Elias, that's the first time 2 players have hit back to back milestone homeruns of such a large magnitude. Truly weird stuff, but more importantly, who out there knew that Dye and Konerko were that close to 300 homeruns before this post. Because I sure didn't think Dye was that close, and especially didn't think Konerko was.

The White Sox went on to win, 10-6.
