St. Louis Vs. Red Wings

Unfortunately Hossa got injured again but hopefully he comes back soon.
Ken Janssen and Robert Downey go at it fighting about 9 minutes 43 seconds into the first period. They actually fought for 1 minute 50 seconds possibly the longest fight I've seen in hockey.

Good stuff.
Thomas Kopecky scoring a short handed goal making it 1-0 so far Red Wings. Datsyuk assist after a great steal.
Zetterburg scores in the second making it 2-0. Assisted by Datsyuk and Franzen.
Draper scores assisted by Jonathan Erickson and Kopeckey.3-0
Kronwall scores 4-0.
Valteri Fillpula scores after a 19 game streak with no goals.
His second goal in the past 33 games, 7 goals all together. So Fillpula needed that one making it 5-0.
It sounds like Hossa maybe alright?

Here are some of the highlights...

3 minutes 47 seconds

San Jose Vs. Detroit

1st period
Hossa with a goal through the five hole. Then Leino with a slap rebound out of the air after it flipped to him.
No goal it looked dangerous for the red wings but instead 2-0 red wings winning at the end of the first period.
(I watch it after it has recorded)

2nd period
Thorton instantly gos to the box.
Tripping no call you've got to like that.
Hossa doing his thing playing very well.

I personally thought Hudler might score this game? Everyone around me picked someone else to score.
Penaltey against us Datsyuk "Lady bing" for too long but that gave Zetterburg the chance to show his stuff by doing a spectacular spin after getting hooked badly.
Great pressure by Detroit in the second period.
Another power play!
Out of control...

499 career points this game total for Pavel Datsyuk. He just needs one more and I think he might surpass even that 500 point.

Hossa double teamed and checked horribly. Seemed kind of ruthless to me.

Rafalski rides that blue lie like a champ!
Datsyuk tries for his 500th with a good chance around 4:30 minutes. Datsyuk with a lot of hits this game and it's only the second period.

The birthday ages intrigued me a bit. All multiples of 9?

3rd period
Hossa might not come back in this game?

Did Murphy get speared? Thats what I was wondering.

Update...
(Hossa is not comming back this game hopefully next game)
Great play by Datsyuk around 8 minutes in kicking it to a teammate.

Ty Conklin looking good enough to start in the playoffs.
3-1 so far in the third. There is 6:00 minutes left.
3:36 left Boyle gets upset and retaliates against Datsyuk.
Of course Datsyuk draws the penalty.

Zetterburg sores like he likes to a lot of the time, from behind the net!
Making it 500 points with the assist from Datsyuk like I knew he would somehow.

The back pass by by Datsyuk around 1:30 minutes left was definitely worth seeing.
4-1 Red Wings win it!

Ty Conklin has a 12 game winning streak at home.

8-3 Red Wings Vs. Edmonton

Pavels 5th season in a row with over 20 goals. Still looking good making very few mistakes. Even when he does he ends up usually stealing the puck back.
Roloson with a cheap shot hitting Cleary in the family jewels! I think he deserved to be kicked out of the game for that. If Avery can get in trouble for saying a few measly words than Roloson should of gotten some sort of punishment rather than a little penalty.
Unfortunately I only saw the first period but I think the Wings pretty much were going to win the game.
5 goals in the first period a record this season for them.

Later...

I finally got time to see the rest of this game and what a spectacular game it was. 8-3 Rafalski,Lebda,Cleary,Datsyuk,Hossa,Sameulson,Leino and Hudler scored a goal!
Here are the highlights even though a part of it repeats itself?

5 minutes 30 sec

Detroit Vs. Atlanta Game #4

Last night was my first experience ever watching the Red Wings in Joe Louis Arena! I sat in the 9th row just behind the penalty box. And what an experience it was. The excitement of the crowd made it that much more pleasing to be there in person. With a 5 - 3 victory the Red Wings sealed the deal.
2 goals for Zetterburg

2 goals for Hossa which by the way looks great in red and white

and finally Cleary with the empty net at the end.
