Colt McCoy And The Longhorns Pro Day

The above video features highlights of former Texas Longhorns quarterback Colt McCoy working out at the Texas Longhorns Pro Day. Some NFL coaches who were on hand to watch McCoy work-out included Cleveland Browns head coach Eric Mangini and Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Caroll.

After clips of McCoy's workout, McCoy answers some questions from the media that was on hand for the event. Other players featured in the clip include wide receiver Jordan Shipley, safety Earl Thomas, and linebacker Sergio Kindle.

McCoy is currently being projected as a late first/early second-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Daily Drunk: "I Asked For A F*&%in Cheeseburger!"

"Fight Breaks Out Between 2 Hillbillies In Whataburger In Texas After Paul Wall & Chamillionaire Reunion Show!"
I'm siding with the tubby white dude on this one. By the looks of the fatty's attire, it appears to be St. Patrick's day. What is it these Whataburger employees don't understand? Dude's had a long day of drinking and begging to see some tits and wants a cheeseburger and some fries! Whataburger's slogan is "Just like you like it". Apparently this doesn't stand true for fat drunk irish looking hicks demanding a damn cheeseburger! Get the man a few patties and he don' be happy!

Angry Taxpayer goes all al-Qaeda on IRS

AUSTIN, Texas - A man upset with the Internal Revenue Service set fire to his home, got into his small plane and crashed it Thursday into a multistory office building that houses federal tax employees, authorities said.

At least two people were injured in the crash and a third person who worked in the building was unaccounted for, fire officials said. The crash caused a fire that sent black smoke billowing from the seven-story Echelon Building.

Federal law enforcement officials said they were investigating whether the pilot crashed on purpose in an effort to blow up IRS offices.

Wow. A lot of people hate the IRS, but this is a little overboard, don’t you think? Apparently, this kamikaze-ing son-of-a bitch left a message on his company’s website before channeling his inner bin Laden, saying that violence was the only answer. (He’s not the only one with this philosophy. Remember this guy from the great state of New Hampshire?)

This nutcase says he lost a lot of money because of the IRS (who hasn’t?), but lighting your own house on fire and executing a mini 9/11?? Really? How does that help the situation? Now you have no house, no plane, and if you’re not dead already, you’re gonna be spending the rest of your life in the slammer. Was this little stunt, worth it? I mean the guy owned his own plane, he couldn’t have been doing that badly.

Sometimes Marathons Need to End: The Texas Longhorns win in 25 innings

I'll be honest and admit that I do not follow the NCAA College Baseball Tournament (AKA The College World Series) as closely as some other people but a boxscore caught my eye over the night between the #1 seeded Texas Longhorns and the Boston College Eagles, who needed twenty-five innings to decide their contest.

Texas ended up winning in the top of the 25th off of an RBI single by Travis Tucker which gave the Longhorns a 3-2 win. This ended up being the longest game in NCAA Baseball history, eclipsing the record 23 innings done by Louisiana-Lafayette and McNeese State back in 1971.

The game itself had a start time of 7:02 pm EDT on Saturday and did not end till Sunday at 2:05am est. To put this in perspective, Game One of the Stanley Cup and the Eastern Conference Finals game six were already completed and had finished their postgame wrap-up shows.

The real star of this game was Texas pitcher Austin Wood (pictured above) who pitched 13 innings of work including 12 1/3 of those innings being no-hit baseball. Wood's arm is probably ready to fall off any minute now.

Texas stays alive and moves on to play in the regional championship game and Boston College ends up being a footnote in one of the strangest and longest college baseball games ever played.
