->NBA All-Star Weekend ended with a bang as the diminutive Nate Robinson defeated defending champ Dwight Howard in the slam dunk contest.

Here are the results of the rest of the festivities
HORSE: Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder
Haier Shooting Stars: Detroit Pistons (Aaron Affalo, Bill Laimbeer, and Katie Smith)
Playstation Skills: Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls
Three Point Shoot-out: Daequan Cook, Miami Heat

->#2 ranked Oklahoma cruised past Texas Tech for a 95-74 victory. Oklahoma forward Blake Griffin dropped 40 points and 23 rebounds.

->Anaheim Angels pitcher Ervin Santana signed a four-year deal worth up to 42 million dollars over five seasons. It includes an option for 2013 with a potential buyout.

->Finally, in the NHL, The Washington Capitals beat the Tampa Bay Lighting by the score of 5-1 as Mike Green set a record scoring goals in eight consecutive games for a defensivemen.
(The old record was held by Mike O' Connell of Boston in 1983)

When you just want to get the straight facts, here is another edition of what you missed:

->Chicago Bulls General Manager John Paxson says that he will leave the team at the end of the season.

->The Boston Celtcs won their ninth straight on the road with a 99-92 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. Paul Pierce ended his day with 31 points.

->In College Hoops, #18 ranked Arizona State took out #11UCLA, 74-67. Arizona State hit 11 three-pointers in the victory.

->New York Giants WR Plaxico Burress is asking for a trade according to his agent. No word yet from the Giants.

->Finally to golf as Michelle Wie shot a six under par at the LPGA SBS Open. She is one shot off the lead.

Video of the Day: Confessions of a Shopaholic opens today and star Isla Fisher climbed into our hearts as the nymphomaniac Gloria in Wedding Crashers. Hopefully, she'll find us.

Like many readers of the blog, I find that most of us do not have alot of time to read every single sports story from last night.

So I decided to bring to you, some bulleted headlines from last night, in what you missed:

-> Lakers end Cavaliers home winning streak with a 101-91 victory. Lamar Odom drops 28 points and 17 rebounds.

->Former New York Giant Lawrence Taylor will appear on Dancing with the Stars

->Charles Barkley will return to TNT after All-Star Break

->Tiger Woods had his second child, named it Charlie Axel Woods

->And, Chris Brown (singer, not NFL player) got charged for allegedly assaulting girlfriend singer Rihanna.

Video of the Day: Larry Fitzgerald takes home the MVP award in the NFC's Pro Bowl win, 30-21. This is his 46-yard touchdown grab to end the first half.
