The Cincinnati Bengals are one of the few NFL franchises that have made losing almost a yearly occurence. However, it appeared that the Bengals had their week one game against the Denver Broncos all sewn up with a 7-6 lead with less than twenty seconds to play.
Then "Comeback" Kyle Orton threw a pass that ended up being deflected into the hands of Brandon Stokley for the 12-7 win. Cincinnati defensive back Leon Hall deflected the pass instead of knocking it down. The Bungals strike again.
I have a feeling that most of us watching this game probably missed the play or had turned the game off assuming that it was over.
I do feel bad for CBS play by play man Gus Johnson, I think nearly "yelled" himself to death.
