If I was ever in love with a girl it would have to be Stevie Nicks. Fleetwood Mac are reforming for 2 concerts in Australia and we have just booked seats. I am so excited. I have never been to a rock concert, well maybe one - but does Daryl Braithwaite count?
The booking of tickets happened at the same time as the 60 minutes segment on the band - and there was Stevie being interviewed. Music is pivotal for memory, and the dominance of Fleetwood Mac coincides with a time in my life when I was struggling with some atypical teenage dilemmas. Hearing the songs on the TV made me very emotional.
I am not inspired by too many humans, most of the time I think they are just like me with some slightly different characteristics, some good, some not. But although I know Stevie is just another human being, she really does inspire me.
